Reading is an exercise for our mind, and we need to develop this habit in our children at an early age. Non-fiction for children Reading non-fiction is as delightful as reading fiction. Most of you will agree with me. Introducing non-fiction books to children are important because by reading non-fiction children gather a lot of information about the real world. It even improves their vocabulary. Children will enjoy reading them as well. Reading a true story, reading about science, history, nature, etc., connects them to the real world.
