Kids Book Quest (non-fiction): A Day With series

“A room without books is like a body without a soul.”  ―  Marcus Tullius Cicero Books are our constant companions.  Reading is an exercise for our mind, and we need to develop this habit in our children at an early age.  Non-fiction for children Reading non-fiction is as delightful as reading fiction. Most of you will agree with me.  Introducing non-fiction books to children are important because by reading non-fiction children gather a lot of information about the real world. It even improves their vocabulary. Children will enjoy reading them as well. Reading a true story, reading about science, history,  nature, etc., connects them to the real world.  While first introducing non-fiction, try to bring books that narrate the text/story through beautiful illustrations. This will keep children engaged till the end. Kids Book Quest: Thea Stilton Series

In today’s world of technology, children are glued to their tabs and mobiles so much so that they've forgotten the fun of reading books and playing outside. Sad though, but today’s fact. Thea Stilton is the younger sister of Geronimo Stilton, and in Thea Stilton series, the st

Murakami World

I am not a voracious reader, but lately, I am sunk into Murakami world. Murakami oeuvre takes you in a journey of imaginations, diving you through different waves of emotions. If you can’t imagine, don’t read Murakami. According to me, if you want to thoroughly enjoy the books of Murakami then you should sail your imagination through his words. His work is addictive, captivating, and fascinating. Although all his works deal with emotions, his way of narration sometimes strikes a chill into you when you are deeply engrossed in reading. That’s the fun of reading Murakami. I have read some of his books, not all. I am hoping to read all his books in near future.
